Sam O
Since joining Seek Social Sam has quickly distinguished himself as a highly-valued member of our development team, alongside his colleagues Dean, Luke, Ryan and Joe. Sam has definite passion for development and machine learning – and as a specialist in Python, his support is invaluable to both our success and that of the clients with which he works.
When asked what he likes best about his job at Seek Social Sam was quick to mention the sheer variety of the tasks he takes on, and that every day there’s a new challenge to take on, a new problem to solve, and someone to help doing so – if you ready through the rest of the staff bios you’ll find on our ‘our team’ page, you’ll know that he isn’t the only member of the team to feel that way.
Having seen what Sam can do for a long time now, we know just how lucky we are to have him on board, and in fact it was a little bit of luck that brought us together in the first place. Before officially becoming part of the team at Seek Social Sam had worked with us on a number of projects as a freelancer. While working in this capacity both Sam and Dean realised that Sam was a great fit for Seek Social, and likewise we could help Sam provide his support to more people, more often.
That’s important too, since away from Seek Social Sam has incredible sense of community – he loves to give back and help people in a number of ways, including by teaching code and coding skills to children. Sam loves to game too (like the rest of us, really) and in particular is a fan of role-playing games – but you can tell that he’s every bit as enthusiastic about his teaching work, and sharing his passion for his work along the way.
