At Seek Social Toby is a vital member of our business development team. As such, if you’re a client of ours (or you’re thinking of becoming one) it’s highly likely that you’ll end up speaking with Toby at some point, and so an extra benefit of this particular bio is that you can now put a face to a name!
In joining Seek Social Toby brings a wealth of experience in customer-facing and customer service situations to Seek Social – though that’s not the only reason we hired him! Toby has enjoyed this kind of work all his life, but was looking for a new challenge and really feels that his move into a more sales-focused role provides that change that he’s been looking for. In particular with Seek Social Toby finds the presence of regular targets and KPI goals to achieve to be a real source of extra motivation.
Toby freely admits to having been the class clown at school, and that as good as he was in his studies he never quite learned when to keep his head down and keep quiet. If you ask us though, he’s really turned that ‘fault’ into a positive, since at Seek Social he now gets paid to spend all day meeting and speaking to people from all over the world running all kinds of different companies, and learning about the different challenges they face. Toby loves the variety that his current role brings too, and if you’ve ever heard him on the phone you can hear the passion for his work and a real desire to help the people he talks to shining through.
Away from the office he likes spending time with his girlfriend, and like many of us at Seek Social Toby’s into gaming, with Call of Duty being his series of choice. He’s a keen football fan too, and is a (long-suffering?) Manchester United supporter.
